VokiVoki is a web 2.0 animation creator tool. This website guides you through building an animated character and giving it a voice. There are hundreds of characters to choose from and numerous options to change and recreate once you have chosen a character. When you finally finish creating your animation character, you move on to giving it a voice; choose your own or a computer generated voice. This is a fun website to work in., one could spend hours creating and changing and creating avatars.
Google DriveWhat a great way to share information with others. In Google Drive, you can create and share documents, presentations, spreadsheets, ect. How easy, no more emailing and attaching files. With Google Drive you just share it! QR StuffAllows you to take a link and create a QR (quick response) code.
TEDEdEducational videos where an educator and an animator get together and create a video lesson Great resource for a new way of teaching.
Three RingA wonderful tool to create student digital portfolios. I cannot stand having piles of papers laying around--- even neatly placed in files, I lose them. This website and corresponding app allowed me to save student work without the mess. I love how I can record and video my student's work. Having them explain their work creates a deeper understanding of their learning.
MapWingI cannot wait to try Mapwing out. Mapwing allows you to create virtual tours for free. What a great tool to use either for the library, or the whole school. It is very easy for people to get turned around at Beartooth.
Daisy DinosaurThis app is helps students learn and explore coding. I am excite to try this with my students in centers. What a wonderful tool for students to have to prepare them for their future.
BlockyOk, ok one more. Blocky, yet another coding tool, allows individuals to piece together codes like connecting pieces of a puzzle.
SocrativeTurn your iPad into a voting device. Create assessment online. Once you have created the assessment it will give a code for the iPad users to enter. After the code is entered they will gain access to the assessment. The teacher can then see each individuals response.
PiktochartPiktochart is a web 2.0 tool with limited free access for teachers. It allows individuals to take information and create a graphic to organize the information.
BlabberizeTake a picture and make it look like it is talking.
NearpodAllows you to create interactive presentations. Teacher creates the presentation using different types of media, the students then can submit responses.
MeographInteractive "4D" video storytelling story telling. Allows you to use photos to create videos and maps to display something that has happened over a period of time.
Time ToastWeb 2.0 tool that allows you to create timelines of past and present events.
Easel.lyAn easy way to create infographics. All you need to do is drag and click. students and teachers both can easily create and share information .
Spelling CityGreat tool to use for spelling practice and tests. Angel Zickefoose, showed us how to save as a PDF to students Google Drive account and sharing graded spelling test with the teacher.
EducannonImport a video to create a lesson. Educannon allows you to insert questions into the video. The video will pause, allowing the students to answer the question(s).

LinoWho doesn't love sticky notes? This is a great collaboration tool. Through the use of digital sticky notes students can post questions or responses on lino.
Story JumperStory Jump is a tool that allows you to create your own book. It is free, unless you want a copy of your creation.
Symbaloo
Symbaloo is a great way to organize favorite websites. The easy to use tool uses images or icons to show your webmix. The pictures have been a great way for non-readers to access educational websites.
QR Codes
Ever wonder what those odd looking pictures were popping up all over advertisements? Even after I had heard the term QR code, I still didn't know what they did, hey I even had a QR scanner downloaded on my phone and never used it. My students and I now enjoy seeing where these secret codes will take us.
Thinklink
What a great way to make a digitized story a little more interesting and interactive. The possibilities are endless. You could add a question for students to respond to in a comment, or for the non/beginning readers you could add a video to dive a little deeper into the story.

TouchCastCurrently only available as in iPad app. This app allows us to create a video tour. Hmm. this may just be a perfect tool for our school. So many parents get lost in our open concept school. Between this and Mapwing we may have conquered this issue :) (Hopeful thinking, but they are both amazing)
SpicynodesNote taking made easy. Collaborative tool that users may simultaneously add too it. Can be used as a inquiry tool. Upload images for students to observe, reflect and question.

Sketch-upCreate simple and complex models. What a neat tool. Great for architectural units.
CapzlesAnother timeline tool. This allows the teacher to create a classroom account to add multiple capzles.
iFake TextI saw this on a blog. The purpose was to take two characters from a book and create a texting dialog. Sounds fun to me.
Screencast-O-MaticA great tool to use for creating tutorials. Capture you computer screen as you guide individuals through what you are trying to teach.
